Safety Manager in Worcester, MA


As a Safety Manager, you’ll lead the charge in building a culture where safety is more than a priority — it’s a core value. You’ll ensure best practices are implemented, compliance standards are met, and every team member goes home safe each day.

 

 

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Lead to provide hands-on, field-focused safety leadership on a complex, active GMP manufacturing site. This role supports major capital construction, including a new multi-story building and interior fit-out work within an existing manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate brings strong construction safety experience in regulated or industrial environments and is comfortable operating at the intersection of construction, EHS, and site operations.

 

  • Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily safety meetings
  • Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
  • Daily safety audits and inspections
  • Oversee all subcontractors and contractors
  • Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on construction safety experience on complex industrial or capital projects
  • Experience working in GMP-regulated or pharmaceutical environments preferred
  • Proven experience working directly with or embedded alongside General Contractors
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
  • Ability to interpret and apply site-specific EHS and GMP requirements in an active facility
  • Comfortable spending the majority of time in the field

Pay Range

$120,000-140,000

Travel | Relocation
